CFLCP Red Cockaded Woodpecker

The red-cockaded woodpecker has been downlisted from an endangered to a threatened species. 

Over 50 years of collaborative conservation work has resulted in larger and more stable populations of these remarkable birds throughout their range. This is a conservation success story to celebrate!

RVCCD Chattahoochee Fall Line Conservation Partnership

The RVCCD Project is focused on working with six rural communities surrounding Fort Moore to identify and advance both new and existing opportunities for economic development that are compatible with the mission and long-term operation of the region’s largest economic driver – Fort Moore.
